Thermal-Grip TGIP6000 – 6″ Insulation Pin (Concrete/CMU), 250ct

Designed to mechanically attach rigid insulation to concrete, masonry, tilt-up/precast walls, and CMU using gas-actuated insulation fasteners—no screws or adhesives required.

The Thermal-Grip® Insulation Pin is a large 2.25″ diameter washer head fastener with pins available in lengths from 1″ to 6″. Use with Thermal-Grip IP Insulation Fastening Tools for rapid attachment.

Concrete/CMU Applications

Permanently attaches insulation with a flush finish

For use attaching rigid insulation including XPS, EPS, polyisocyanurate, and mineral wool

Material Specifications

Pin: Galvanized carbon steel

Washer: Polypropylene

Application: Use with the IP50D tool (required for 5″ and 6″ pins). The IP50D tool can install pins from 1″6″.

Washer: 2-1/4″ (57 mm) diameter, solid plastic, to reduce thermal bridging.
