A full round rasp is an excellent tool for shaping wood in almost any area of woodworking. Be it fine furniture design, carving, or luthiary, these very well made full round rasps from Narex have cutting edges that are more aggressively angled than you’d find on a traditional file, so they can shape and mold material very quickly to suit your needs. Part of the Profi line of Narex hand tools, these rasps feature brass ferrule construction to join the stained and waxed hornbeam handles to the HRc45 Tool Steel quality rasp.

The full round rasp is made to go where its half-round cousins can’t. With their smaller cutting diameters, the full round rasps are able to get into tighter spaces that need shaping before you move on to the sanding process. You’ll be able to make holes larger and mold carving projects of any variety into shape quickly and easily with these exceptional quality tools.
