Narex Riffler Rasps feature hand stitched teeth creating a fast but smooth cutting tool that is ideal for shaping and refining details in furniture, instruments, and carvings where larger tools won’t fit. Available individually in 8 different shapes or in a complete 8 piece set, these tools give you the ability to smooth and shape almost any detail imaginable.

Measuring roughly 7” overall and featuring 2” of working area at each end, these tools have an “S” shape bend that allows each Riffler to reach deep into tight details or refine long profiles with ease. Recommended for wood, plastics, and soft stone such as soapstone. Riffler Rasps were favorites traditionally of pattern makers and sculptors.

Hand stitching is a labor-intensive process where each tooth is formed one at a time by a skilled craftsman using nothing more than a hammer and small chisel like tool to form the size and number of teeth, and tooth pattern on each Riffler. It is this Human touch that makes these Rifflers such a joy to use.
