MAS Deep Pour X Epoxy

MAS Deep Pour and MAS Deep Pour X are specifically designed for casting, encapsulating and molding. Both products cure to a clear, glass-like finish that resists scratching and yellowing with an extended gel time to minimize exotherm and improve air release. Adding pigments such as our Eye Candy Pigments or Mixol Universal Tints and Metallic Effects while mixing allow you to explore your creativity even further. These products are perfect for projects such as beautiful “river tables”.

MAS Deep Pour X Epoxy:

2:1 resin to hardener mix ratio by volume

Even greater extended gel time than standard MAS Deep Pour, allowing for layer 2-inch to 3-inch thickness in a single pour.

Ideal Storage Conditions: 60°F to 90°F

Ideal Working Conditions: 60°F to 85°F – working environments above 85°F may cause set too quickly and exotherm (become too hot) which could cause it to yellow, distort, shrink or crack.

It is highly recommended that a seal coat such as MAS Penetrating Epoxy be used prior to Deep Pour or Deep Pour X, to prevent formation of bubbles and foam due to underlying moisture content.
