Infinity Tools Double Bearing Pattern Router Bits w/ Downshear are built for clean, accurate template-guided routing with the flexibility to run your pattern above or below the workpiece. The upper and lower guide bearings let you choose the best bearing position for the setup, helping you work more efficiently whether you are routing on a handheld router or at the router table.

The smooth downshear cutting action helps produce a cleaner surface while reducing tearout on the top edge of the workpiece. Use these bits for pattern routing, template work, flush trimming, duplicate parts, curved workpieces, and other applications where control, consistency, and clean results matter.

Why Use a Double Bearing Pattern Bit?

Standard pattern bits limit where your template can be positioned. These double bearing pattern router bits give you more options. With a bearing at both the top and bottom of the cutter, you can reference the template from either side of the workpiece without changing bits. That makes setup faster, improves control, and gives you more flexibility when working with different jigs, templates, and stock thicknesses.

Choose Your Shank Size

This product includes two variant options: a compact 1/4″ shank bit for tighter corners and hand-held routing and a larger 1/2″ shank bit for taller material designed to be used on a router table. Both options feature our downshear cutting geometry for fray-free edges requiring minimal sanding.
