Infinity Tools Diamond Tray Template

The Infinity Tools Diamond Tray Template lets you rout distinctive diamond-shaped serving trays with your router. Precision CNC-machined from 1/2″-thick MDF, the template is pre-drilled and countersunk for fast, tape-free mounting to your workpiece. Glue up contrasting wood species, attach the template, and rout chip-and-dip, cheese-and-cracker, candy, or catch-all trays that look good enough to display. Tray-making is a perfect way to use up attractive scrap stock — gluing up boards around 2″ thick works best. Because the template controls the shape, you get clean, repeatable results every time. Detailed step-by-step instructions are included to guide you from blank to finished tray.

Template size and fit

The diamond shape takes up most of its 15-1/2″ x 15-1/2″ plate. We recommend making your glued-up blank to match the plate size so you have enough material to cut the shape while keeping strong, thick sidewalls — the key to a tray that lasts for years.
