Infinity Tools D.I.Y. Router Template Packages

Our exclusive router insert plate installation kit creates a perfectly-sized opening in your shop-made router table. Designed for 9-1/4″ x 11-3/4″ router insert plates. Works with tables from 3/4″ to 1-7/8″ thick.

Includes everything you need to create the opening and rabbeted ledge that supports the insert plate. All you need to supply is a jig saw and a router.

Use the included large bearing against the template as a scribe to lay out the opening. Remove the waste with a jig saw. Then create the rabbeted ledge using our pattern bit. Finally, clean up the edges of the opening while creating a 1/2″-wide rabbet using our flush trim bit outfitted with the large bearing.

The Infinity Tools Steel Insert Ring (item RTT-IRS) sits under your router plate (or router lift) to prevent wear in the router table top from the adjustment screws. Sold separately below, we recommend this 1/32″ thick stainless steel ring to be used for any router table top with at least a 7/16″ deep router plate rabbet depth.

Please note: When using our RTI-DIY kit to make your own router table top; the rabbet width that the router plate sits on will not allow for the use of the optional four corner screws.
