Replacement Inserts For The SawStop 100-388 Zero Clearance Carrier Plate

Each of these three different inserts directly fits our . They slide into the solid aluminum carrier plate via a dovetailed way, and the saw’s throat opening keeps them reliably in place. No tools necessary!

They are sold in packs of three of each type.

The 100-388.DIP is completely blank. It’s great for both single blades as well as stacked dado sets.

The 100-388.BG has a rear slot that’s meant to allow your saw’s overarm blade guard to fit. On initial use, raise your blade all the way up as you cut through the insert, without the blade guard in place, in order to provide proper mounting room. Then be sure to flip the blade guard’s anti-kickback prawls into their fully UP position before mounting it and then installing the ZCI carrier and insert plate. Finish the installation by sliding the carrier plate into position after the blade guard has been installed, and lower the anti-kickback prawls as needed.

The 100-388.RK insert allows room for the saw’s riving knife to work as it should, behind the saw blade. As before, cut through the insert without the knife installed and raise the blade high on initial setup. Then you will have plenty of clearance for the riving knife to be mounted and then to do its job following your blade during regular use.

These inserts are compatible with the older model of Infinity Tools Saw Stop ZCI carrier plates (100-358). But they are not compatible with any other ZCI system.
