This is a 60 Hz direct drive pressure tank agitator assembly for 15 gallon tanks. The 50 Hz equivalent model is 25C473. This model includes a shaft and impeller, but do not include pressure tanks. These models are for the replacement of existing air motor driven pressure tank agitators. Does not come with shaft or impeller – see Shaft and Impeller Size, page 9, for proper shaft length and impeller diameter part numbers, to be ordered separately. Requires power from a variable frequency drive (VFD) to control speed and is not to be used without one. Part 25C473 is mentioned in step 1c for pressure tank installation instructions alongside models 25C462, 25C470, 25C471, 25C465, and 25C472. Installation involves placing gasket (21) and bearing housing/flange assembly on pressure tank cover with lock washer (32) and nut (22).
