This retaining ring is used in both G15 gun configurations with plastic and carbide seats, appearing as item 6 in the parts breakdown with quantity 1 This is an older model part that is NOT interchangeable with newer models. The new retaining ring (24D438) is black and has coarse threads, while the old retaining ring (15F192) is silver and has fine threads. Any interchange will damage the threads on the ring and gun body.
