The AKN-100-XXXXNA series pins are designed specially for the Model 500 tool to attach plywood and oriented strand board (OSB) to light gauge steel from 14 GA. ( 68 mil ) to 22 GA. (27 mil). These pins are finished with Aericote 1000 coating which provides ten times the corrosion protection of electroplated zinc. Unlike wire collation, the plastic coil collation eliminates finish burn-through which initiates corrosion.
