By not supporting your stock close to the saw blade’s teeth the standard throat plate will allow your workpiece to chip and tear on the bottom of the cut. Worse yet, small pieces can fall in the gap between blade and saw creating a dangerous kickback situation or even ruing your saw blade.

Precision machined from solid aluminum, these Tru-Cut™ inserts are guaranteed to never twist warp or bend. They will dramatically reduce unsightly tearout and chipping along the edge of your cut and make your stock come out smoother than ever before. The system includes one aluminum throat plate that has been specially machined to fit into a select number of common table saws. Also included is one phenolic insert that features leveling screws which allow for a perfectly flush fit on your saw. Each throat plate comes with one insert.
